On wednesday, many Tigers fans attending the game also saw live action scenes being filmed for upcoming movie Transformers 4, scheduled for a June 27, 2014 release.
The scene consisted of a Chinese wedding scene, ending with explosions. The Rosa Parks Transit Center was closed from Sunday at 5 A.M. to Monday at 4 A.M.
Most of the “Transformers 4” movie will be shot at Michigan Motion Picture studios in Pontiac. The cast includes Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci.
Many merchants and residents were informed of this through a letter from Paramount Pictures, telling them of simulated gunfire, controlled pyrotechnic explosions, precision driving involving squealing tires, and more. The letter also mentions street closures to accommodate filming.
Earlier this year, filming also took place in Lenawee County Fairfield township near an area of state highway. The filming will continue in the City until August 10.
