 미시간주 경찰국과 도로교통국은 고속도로 약 총 600마일과 비고속도로 900 마일에 제한속도 70 마일에서 75마일로 올린다고 알렸다5월1일부터 적용되어 고속도로와 비고속도 제한 속도를 올리고 있으나 아직 올리지 않은 구간은 이전 속도를 적용하고 있다.고속도로를 지나보면 갑자기 속도제한 표지판에 75 mile 로 변경된 부분이 있다이번 고속도로 속도변경은 2017년 릭 스나이더 현 주지사가 싸인해 결정되었다.MDOT and MSP 미시간 고속도로 관리국은 도로 연구에서 이미 운전자들이 그정도의 속도로 운전 하고 있었고 단지 푯말만 바꾸는 현상인것으로 보인다고 전했다.그러나 대형트럭의 속도 제한은 60-65마일이고 구간 마다 조금 다른 경우도 있다.미시간 도로 경찰국은 새로 변경된 구역의 제한속도를 엄격히 관리 한다고 전하면서 80 마일또는 85마일 구간이 아니라는것을 알리고 있다.아래는 미시간 고속도로와 비고속도로 속도 변경 구간이다. 0 to 75 mile-per-hour speed limits, while truck speed limits here will go from 60 to 65 miles-per-hour: I-75 – Bay City to US-23 in Mackinaw City (Bay, Arenac, Ogemaw, Roscommon, Crawford, Otsego, Cheboygan, and Emmet counties), and St. Ignace to Sault Ste.
